Chamber Champion: Michelle Ivy

Michelle Ivy currently serves as Vice President of Commercial Banking at The Bank of South Carolina, an independent community bank focusing on individuals and businesses seeking a high level of service. Michelle brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping entrepreneurs thrive.

 A proud alumna of The College of Charleston, Michelle holds a bachelor's degree in Communications, a testament to her commitment to education and professional growth. Starting her career in banking just after high school, Michelle's diverse professional background spans investments, real estate, and lending. She offers a holistic advisory approach to her clients.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Michelle is deeply involved in her community. Born and raised in Charleston, she relocated to Summerville in 2018, immersing herself in the Summerville community. Michelle is an active member of CREW Palmetto (Commercial Real Estate Woman) and NAWIC Palmetto (National Association of Women in Construction), where she contributes her expertise and networks to support women in the industry.

In addition to her professional and community commitments, Michelle is a dedicated mother of two and a pup mom to Venice, her Bernadoodle. In her free time, she enjoys archery, traveling and the pursuit of learning new skills. Her diverse interests reflect her adventurous spirit and her drive to continually challenge herself both personally and professionally.
