Chamber announces 2022 Board and new Chairperson

Debbie Clarke begins role as Chamber Board Chairperson

The Greater Summervill/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Debbie Clarke as the Board Chairperson.


Mrs. Clarke serves as Area Manager and Financial Advisor with Pinnacle Financial Partners (Pinnacle Bank) in Summerville.


She began her banking career in 1980 with South Carolina National Bank. It later merged with Wachovia Bank then with Wells Fargo. She worked as a Commercial Banker, Small Business Banker, Private Wealth Banker, and branch manager.


Joining Pinnacle Bank in 2021, she continues to provide distinctive financial advise to businesses throughout the Southeast.


Mrs. Clarke attended Trident Technical College and completed Bankers School with the University of South Carolina in 1993. She received certification from Florida State University Center of Professional Development in Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Insurance and Tax planning 2001.

Mrs. Clarke enjoys community work and has served on various community nonprofit Boards. Along with the Chamber, Mrs. Clarke serves on the Children’s Advocacy Center Board.


She is a member of the Pinopolis United Methodist Church.


Mrs. Clarke’s moved from Charleston to rural Summerville in 1994 where she lives with her husband Calvitt, daughter Callie, three horse and a rescue dog and cat. She enjoys the outdoors and country living.


Mrs. Clarke will be leading an exceptional Board.
