Cityvolve on Schedule with Completion of North Main Street Office Building Renovation

Anne Lawless • October 27, 2020

Cityvolve is completing the renovation of 140 N Main Street in Summerville, on schedule to deliver in the 4th quarter of 2020. The 13,000 s.f. professional office building was originally built in the 1950s before undergoing a rehab sometime in the early 1990s. Cityvolve acquired the property in August 2019 and began construction in January 2020.

140 N Main Street is now 75% leased with the following tenants: Ameris Bank, Century 21 Properties Plus, MGC Law and Cavysi. The two remaining 2nd floor suites of 1,375 s.f. and 1,634 s.f. will be move-in ready and ideally suited for small format professional office users, including creative, legal, real estate and financial businesses.

With excellent visibility at a signalized intersection, 140 N Main Street is a short 2-block walk to the historic downtown area. 140 N Main Street is Cityvolve’s second redevelopment project in the neighborhood. Last year the team completed the renovation of Magnolia Square, an 18,000 office complex located a block away on East 1st N Street.

Cityvolve is the owner and developer and is investing $2M into the building improvements:
