Quality Tire Co., a long-standing fixture in our community since the 1970s, is pleased to announce its exciting revival under new ownership. Tyler, a dedicated Coast Guard Veteran, and Olivia, a prominent local REALTOR®

with Palmetto Elite Group, CarolinaOne Real Estate, have taken the reins, breathing new life into this cherished establishment.

Originally a neighborhood corner store, the structure that now houses Quality Tire Co. has been an integral part of the local community since the 1970s. Undergoing several transformations, Quality Tire officially opened its doors

in the early 1990s under the ownership of Bobby and his wife, Athelda.  Despite its name, Quality Tire, a distinctive blue Cooper Tires sign was prominently displayed, earning the affectionate nickname "Cooper Tire" among locals.

In 2013, Bobby transferred ownership to Ross.  Recognizing the community's attachment to the tire shop, the business was rebranded as Cooper Tires and Brakes.  Despite the name change, the enduring presence of the old Quality

Tire sign continued to grace the brick facade, symbolizing the rich history of the establishment.

In October 2022, Tyler and Olivia Berardo sought a new venture. The husband-and-wife duo came across an online advertisement for a tire shop and eagerly seized the opportunity. With the deal finalized, Tyler and Olivia

officially assumed ownership of the tire shop on February 1, 2023, promptly naming it "Quality Tire Co" as a homage to its rich history.

Driven by their appreciation for the establishment's heritage, Tyler and Olivia are dedicated to propelling Quality Tire Co. into the future. With years of community roots, the couple aims to preserve the nostalgic charm and

personalized service associated with a mom-and-pop feel. Simultaneously, they are committed to modernizing the appearance and functionality, ensuring the provision of high-quality, affordable services for years to come.

In their first year of ownership, Tyler and Olivia have made significant strides, including the addition of four dedicated employees, technological upgrades, and strengthened partnerships with local businesses to extend

services to their fleets.

"We are honored to carry the torch of Quality Tire Co. into the future," says Tyler, co-owner and Coast Guard Veteran.  "Our goal is to blend the charm of the past with the innovation of the present and ensure that Quality Tire Co. is a trusted name in the community for many years to come."

Quality Tire Co. invites the community to join them in celebrating this exciting new chapter. Visit the shop at 1312 S. Main Street in Summerville and experience the perfect blend of history and modernity as Quality Tire Co. sets out on its journey under the passionate stewardship of Tyler and Olivia.
