24/7 Veterinarian Telehealth for adopters to save time and money

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. –

Dutch and Dorchester Paws have teamed up to offer all adopters, even more reassurance and support than ever before.

Dutch, is a place to turn for your new pet’s health. By using Dutch, the adopter will have fast access to licensed Veterinarians over video whenever you have questions or need care, right from the comfort of your home. The service is available 7 days a week, including unlimited video calls and messages, customized prescription treatment plans, and so much more.

In addition, the service allows four additional pets included for FREE. That means, by adopting a pet from Dorchester Paws, the other animals in your home (up to four more) can also get a free month of online telemedicine for them too!

“This is yet another benefit that we are providing to our community and anyone who adopts from Dorchester Paws,” says April Howard Director of Operations. “While we treat each animal that comes through our door and each is medically cleared prior to being placed up for adoption, this service allows new adopters to be set up for success. We know that adopters can feel overwhelmed when they first adopt, so this service allows for even more peace of mind.”

What each adopter needs to know with this service:

-          30 days free, once activated

-          Activation must be done within a few days of adopting the pet

-          After 30 days, the adopter can sign up to pay $15 or $25 a month based on the plan

-          Unlimited # of vet appts are included in that month long subscription

-          Pre-existing doesn't matter

When you adopt at Dorchester Paws, each adoption also comes with:

·         30 Days of free 24/7 Telehealth that can be used for any pet in your home

·         A free health exam waiver that allows adopters to use within the first 10 days of adopting

·         30 days of Trupanion Pet Insurance

·         Free week trial of Good Pup Virtual Training

·         An animal that is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, on monthly preventatives & vetted
