Inaugural Small Business Day at the State House

You are invited to unite with small businesses from across the Palmetto State for Small Business Day at the State House, an advocacy day focused on ensuring S.C. small businesses are heard big by state leaders

The inaugural event hosted by the SC Chamber of Commerce will be held on May 3, 2023, at the State House in Columbia, South Carolina from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event is free and open to all businesses in South Carolina. Register to attend here.


The SC Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Small Business advocacy day to bring small businesses from across the state together at the Capitol.

 

This is a free event; however, we do ask that all attendees register in advance, so that we can ensure our plans accommodate the number of attendees.


SC Chamber members, local chambers, and all businesses are all invited to join. Below you will find a tentative schedule for the day:

Program with presentation of House and Senate Resolutions on North Steps

Proclamation Signing Ceremony with Governor McMaster in the Lower Lobby

Meet with Local Legislators in Upper Lobby

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Panel with Legislators who are Small Business Owners in Auditorium
